To Throw A Feast-Collaborative Project

When I was first introduced to this project concept, I knew that I really wanted to do something that would be meaningful to both Jason and I, since we were going to be working as partners. Our classroom settings are generally very different, so it would have been a challenge to come up with something that we both felt would be meaningful if we tried to go the traditional route. However, we are both very passionate about planning and problem solving. Therefore, we decided to create a collaborative presentation that demonstrated that with the proper planning and problem solving skills, anything is possible. The presentation that we made addresses the planning that we undergo to serve a seven course meal for almost two hundred people. We could use this with our students to demonstrate the reasoning skills that are necessary to approach any learning challenge.

  1. As stated numerous times in class, you really went above-and-beyond in your work on this project and the many others presented in EDUC 584. Keep up the great work and best of luck in all your future endeavors, Lani! It's been a pleasure getting to collaborate with you!
